²¹ Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah.

Ezer and Elead went to Gath to steal the people’s cows and sheep. So some men who grew up in that city killed Ezer and Elead. ²² Their father Ephraim cried for them many days. And his family came to comfort him. ²³ Then he had intimate relations with his wife again. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named his son Beriah^[a] because of the bad things that had happened to his family.
